Ministry Mandates Payment of Increased Salaries For Government Employees

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has informed all ministry secretaries and department heads to provide the increased salaries to government employees tomorrow.

This instruction was given through the issuance of a circular.

S. Aloka Bandara, the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, stated that if the salary increase cannot be provided on that day, the increased salary must be provided to employees before April 25th.
