Former State Minister Pillayan Arrested By CID

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former State Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, alias as Pillayan, has been arrested.
The Criminal Investigation Department stated that the arrest was made last night in the Batticaloa town.
The former Member of Parliament was arrested in connection with an investigation conducted by the CID regarding the abduction and enforced disappearance of an individual.
