Evan Papageorgiou Takes Over as IMF Mission Chief in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) – Evan Papageorgiou has been appointed as the new International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief for Sri Lanka, succeeding Peter Breuer, who completed his tenure on Tuesday, April 8.
Before assuming his new role in Sri Lanka, Papageorgiou served as the IMF Mission Chief for New Zealand and previously held the same position for Vanuatu.
