Deadly Blaze at Kurunegala Fuel Station: Four Lives Lost

COLOMBO (News 1st); A devastating fire at a fuel station in the Wehera area of Kurunegala has resulted in the deaths of four individuals.

The Kurunegala Fire Bnrigade reported that four people who sustained burn injuries were admitted to Kurunegala Hospital.

The fire was triggered by an explosion of a gas tank at the fuel station.

The blaze, which started around 11:30 PM last night, was brought under control early this morning after significant efforts.

Six fire engines were deployed to combat the fire, according to the Kurunegala Fire Brigade.

The Kurunegala Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
