Second Day of Debate on Third Reading of Appropriation Bill in Parliament Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Today marks the second day of the debate on the third reading of the Appropriation Bill, also known as the Committee Stage debate.

During today's Parliamentary session, the expenditure heads related to the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs will be taken up for debate.

The Committee Stage debate is set to continue for 19 days, including 4 Saturdays, from February 27 to March 21.

The vote on the third reading of the Appropriation Bill is scheduled for March 21 at 6:00 PM.
