COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Export Development Board reports that Sri Lanka's export revenue in January of this year exceeded $1.3 billion.
Service exports in January 2025 amount to $329.37 million.
This represents a 37.87% increase compared to January of the previous year.
Goods export revenue for January 2025 was $1,004.82 million.
This is a 3.51% increase compared to merchandise export revenue in January of the previous year.
The Sri Lanka Export Development Board stated that agricultural exports showed a significant increase of 14.87% compared to January of the previous year.
Accordingly, agricultural exports in January reached $258.93 million.
Industrial exports increased by 0.08% in January, with a value of $745.89 million.
Total exports for January 2025 are recorded as $1,334.19 million.
