Ministry of Public Security Seeks Advice On Court Security

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs says that it has sought advice from the Minister of Justice regarding the provision of security within court premises.

Minister Ananda Wijepala stated that action will be taken in this regard based on the response given by the Minister of Justice after discussions with the Judicial Service Commission and other parties.

He also stated that police officers have already been deployed for security in court premises.
