CAA Conducts 130 Raids on Shops Selling Rice at Higher Prices

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Consumer Affairs Authority has conducted 130 raids in recent days to target shops selling rice above the max retail Price.

Several teams were deployed across the Hambantota, Matara, and Colombo districts, with priority given to areas with the most complaints. 

The authority urges the public to retain receipts from traders as part of its ongoing efforts to combat price violations.
