Shooting in Puttalam; One Injured

COLOMBO (News 1st); One person was injured in a shooting that occurred last night in Unaveriyawatte, which is under the Madurankuliya police jurisdiction in Puttalam. 

The shooting had taken place at about 8.15 last night. 

Police say that this was a result of a dispute between two neighbors, concerning land. 

The 42-year-old victim's foot was injured in the shooting, and he was admitted to the Puttalam base hospital. 

Police say that the suspect of this incident was arrested early this morning.
