Ministry of Urban Development and Housing to Discuss Restarting Housing Projects with ADB

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Urban Development, Construction and Housing has announced plans to hold discussions with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) next week regarding the re-implementation of various housing projects that were previously initiated. 

Minister Dr. N.G Anura Karunathilaka said that the work would be carried out in several stages.

The minister also confirmed that efforts will be made to restart the construction of 48,000 houses that were halted.
