Landslide Disrupts Traffic on Passara-Lunugala Road, Special Program in Place

COLOMBO (News 1st): A landslide that occurred early this morning near the 13th Mile Post on the Passara-Lunugala road has disrupted vehicular movement. 

Police said that bus services from Passara have been limited to the 13th Mile Post, with a separate bus service now operating from there to Monaragala. 

To ensure public safety, people are being allowed to walk through the affected area where the landslide occurred. 

Efforts are underway to clear the debris that fell onto the road, and authorities are working to restore normal traffic as soon as possible.
