This page has been spreading false information, including claims that unclaimed luggage is for sale.

One post on the page listed a suitcase filled with various goods and electronic equipment for just Rs. 639.

Authorities have emphasized that there will be no sales of luggage through Bandaranaike International Airport.

They urge the public to stay alert and avoid falling for these scams.
