Fire Breaks Out on Train in Kalutara

COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire has broken out on a train in South Kalutara.
Sri Lanka Railways reported that the fire occurred in the rear engine of an office train that was scheduled to travel from Kalutara to Maradana.
The department confirmed that the fire has now been brought under control.
As a precaution, the Railways Department has decided to cancel the affected train.
