Enhanced Security Measures for Presidential Candidates

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police have announced the deployment of approximately 260 officers dedicated to ensuring the security of presidential candidates.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Asanka Karavita, who oversees the Police Election Bureau, confirmed that these officers are part of a comprehensive security plan.
In addition to the personal security detail for the candidates, a special program has been implemented to manage public rallies.
