COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has released the asset declarations of 95 members of parliament to the public.
The documents are now accessible on the commission's website.
This move is part of the Commission's ongoing efforts to increase transparency and accountability among public officials.
The Commission said that asset declarations of other politicians and government officials will be made public in due course, following the order in which they are received.
The information published adheres to the guidelines outlined in the Anti-Corruption Act, with specific details excluded as per Section 88(1)(a) to (e) of the legislation.
The Commission said the edited versions will be available on the website.
