CBSL Opens Public Consultation on Finance Leasing Act Amendments

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Central Bank of Sri Lanka announced that it would initiate public consultations on amending the Finance Leasing Act, No. 56 of 2000.

To have wider stakeholder consultation, the CBSL is inviting the general public to submit observations/ suggestions/ comments on the draft amendments.

The public can access the draft amendments though the following weblink at the CBSL website;

“https://www.cbsl.gov.lk/en/consultation-papers-for-public-comments”

The public is invited to send their observations/ suggestions/ comments through post, fax or
email on or before 31st May 2024.
