Crackdown on Organized Crime: Police Apprehend Suspects in Multiple Cities

COLOMBO (News 1st); Seven suspects involved in organized crime gangs have been taken into Police custody.

Police say ten other associates of these suspects, who have contributed to carrying out organized criminal activities, have also been taken into Police custody.

The suspects were apprehended during raids conducted by the 20 Police teams deployed across Sri Lanka to combat crime.

Police say these suspects were apprehended in Moratuwa, Ranala, Nugegoda, Orugodawatte, Pallekele, and Meetiyagoda.
