Letter against the conduct of US envoy in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); A delegation from the Collective of National Organizations made their way to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform in writing their concerns regarding the conduct of the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka.

"The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka is strongly influencing internal affairs of the country. The political activities are carried out based on the US agenda," said 
Attorney Nuwan Ballantudawa from the Patriotic Nationalist Front.

He added that the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka had also met with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, and other officials and given them directives.

"The Minister of Foreign Affairs has a responsibility to summon the Ambassador to the Ministry and advise her regarding her actions," he added.
