Patient with Brain Fever Receiving Treatment at NHSL

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Director of Colombo District Health Services Dr.Chandana Gajanayake says that a patient diagnosed with brain fever is currently under medical care at the National Hospital.

It was reported that the patient is a resident of Jaela and is employed at an institution located in Ratmalana. 

In response to this situation, health authorities have taken swift action to administer necessary antibiotics to individuals who had been in contact with the patient.

Dr. Chandana Gajanayake added that the information was received about the patient from the Colombo National Hospital on Monday (28).
