A tree falls in Kandy damaging 8 vehicles.

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two people have been injured after a large Bo tree fell on Asgiriya Tilak Ratnayake Mawatha in Kandy.

The police said that 8 vehicles were severly damaged on the road.

The injured have been admitted to Kandy Hospital.

The Bo tree has fallen this afternoon, and the road has now been opened for vehicular movement.
