Signal error on main railway line fixed

COLOMBO (News 1st); Train operations along the main railway line have been returned to normalcy.

Sri Lanka Railways said a signal error occurred between Pallewela and Ganemulla early on Wednesday (11) morning.

As a result, five trains plying along the main line were delayed, including three trains plying to Colombo.

However, the Railway Control Room said technical teams were deployed and the signal error has been fixed.
