Colombo (News 1st) - The Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan accepted an invitation to visit Sri Lanka which was extended by Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondaman during a meeting in Kerala.
Discussions centered on strengthening relations between Kerala and Sri Lanka. The Kerala CM extended his warm wishes to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Dates and modalities of the visit are to be worked out. The CM would visit both Colombo and the Eastern Province.
Among the key topics discussed between Governor Thondaman and CM Vijayan was the marketing of Kerala and Sri Lanka's Eastern Province as dual tourist destinations to take advantage of the differences in monsoons and tourist seasons.
