Traffic to be restricted on Colombo-Avissawella road

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Traffic movement will be restricted along the Colombo-Avissawella road from 10 PM on Saturday (01) until 5 PM Sunday (02), says the Police. 

Accordingly, traffic will be restricted along the Colombo-Avissawella road from Wellampitiya intersection until the Kotikawatta intersection due to an essential maintenance work, which includes laying water pipes.

The Water Supply Board stated that during the closure of the road, alternative routes can be taken from Wellampitiya Road via Kolonnawa to Gothatuwa Town, Kotikawatta Road in order to re-enter Avissawella Road.
