Sri Lanka: Special fuel program for Tourism

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority says that a special program will be put in place to provide fuel for vehicles engaged in transporting tourists in Sri Lanka

The Director General of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority Dhammika Wijesinghe said that fuel will be released for all vehicles registered with the authority.

She further said that this step was taken so that tourists visiting Sri Lanka will not face any inconvenience in traveling around the country.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Power and Energy recently decided to issue a special fuel permit at the airport for tourists visiting the country.
