Two advisors to President appointed

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two senior advisors to the President has been appointed, the President's Media Division says.

Accordingly, Prof. Sunanda Maddumabandara has been appointed as Senior advisor to President (Media) while Prof. Shenuka Senevirathne has been appointed as the Senior advisor to President (International media).

Prof. Maddumabandara has functioned as a former Vice Chancellor of Kelaniya University and as the Dean of the Sociology Department, and the Head of the Economics Department, while Prof. Seneviratne has functioned as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to United Kingdom, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, and as the Representative of Sri Lanka to United Nations in Geneva and New York.
