In the end, the people of the country brought painful experiences to a struggle, and today the President's Office and the President's House have been occupied by the very people who fight for justice, the statement by the former President read.
The former President said that their only demand is that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa should resign, and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe should also do the same, as he has no mandate to hold the relevant position.
