137 arrested for hoarding fuel

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara said that 137 persons were arrested in 429 raids conducted island-wide with 27,000L of Petrol and 20,000 of Diesel and 10,000L of Kerosene in their possession.
Minister Wijesejara further said that the general public can provide information on illegally stocked fuel or the sale of fuel by 3rd parties to 118, 119, or 1997.
