Vegetable prices spike in Keppetipola

COLOMBO (News 1st); The prices of upcountry vegetables at the Keppetipola Economic Center have increased due to the shortage of fertilizer & pesticides, Secretary to the Economic Center Mahinda Ratnayaka said.

Beans 1kg - Rs.500/-

Beetroot 1kg - Rs.260/ & Rs.280/-

Potato 1kg - Rs.260/- & Rs.280/-

Carrot 1kg - Rs.160/- & Rs.260/-

Capsicums 1kg - Rs.450/-
