Four Injured in Prison Bus Accident Along Udugama-Galle Road

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four people, including two female inmates, were injured in a prison bus accident in Keppetiyagoda along the Udugama-Galle road. 

Police reported that the incident occurred when a bus from Galle Prison, traveling from Baddegama to Galle, collided with a lorry traveling in the opposite direction.

The injured included two female inmates, the bus driver, and a prison officer. All four were hospitalized for treatment.

At the time of the accident, the bus had taken suspects to the Udugama Magistrate's Court and was on its way back to the Galle Prison via Baddegama.
