7 dead & 231 injured in Monday's (9) violence

COLOMBO (News 1st); 231 people were injured in yesterday's (9) clashes and have been admitted to multiple hospitals, and 218 of them are receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital. A spokesperson for the National Hospital said that people injured in the clashes were admitted to the hospital last night (9) as well. Sarath Kumara was reported dead upon hospitalization following an attack on his residence.
