HRCSL to probe removal of Galle 'GotaGoGama' tents

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) has ordered a full investigation into the removal of the tents installed by the protestors in Galle.

A tense situation was reported this morning when Police attempted to remove the temporary tents set up in the Galle town in support of the ongoing protest opposite the President's office in Colombo.

However, following legal intervention the tents that were enacted in Galle, dubbed 'GotaGoGama' were restored.
