Tell us of gas sold at high prices : Litro

COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro Gas said that they have not yet increased the prices of gas cylinders, and informs its customers to report on any dealer that sells Litro Gas at a higher price than the regulated price.

People were seen queuing for gas cylinders in Gampaha, Kadawatha, Panadura, Badulla and other areas since this morning.

Moreover, a protest was held this morning (13) near a gas outlet in Kadawatha demanding gas cylinders.

News First correspondent Susantha Abeyratne stated that the protesters were blocking the Kandy-Colombo road.

Meanwhile, Litro says that it will deliver 120,000 gas cylinders to the market today as well, and adds that the price of a cylinder has not been increased as of yet.
