Russian servicemen have delivered more than 140 tonnes of humanitarian aid to residents of Ukraine's Kherson region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday (7).
"The humanitarian aid consisted of canned meat and fish, cereals, vegetable oil, bottled water, bakery products, and other essential products. Everyone who wished could get food products in various parts of the city of Kherson, including on the square outside the regional administration building," the statement said.
A convoy carrying humanitarian aid arrived in the Ukrainian city from Crimea. Along with Kherson, residents of neighboring settlements also began to receive aid from Russia.
