COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's daily Kerosene requirement has increased by 100 MT, said the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
CPC said the daily Kerosene requirement in Sri Lanka is approximately 500 MT, and it increased to 600 MT per day, over the past few days.
It added that measures are in place to ensure there is an uninterrupted supply of Kerosene to the local market, and similarly, the necessary fuel will also be released to the fishing community.
The CPC said there was an unusual increase in the demand for fertilizer from Colombo and Fishing Communities.
