Two women missing in Sinharaja; Search Operation underway

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police, Sri Lanka Army, and the Police Special Task Force launched a joint search operation inside the Sinharaja Forest, after two women gathering cardamom were reported missing.

Sri Lanka Police said that a missing persons complaint was filed with the Sooriyakanda Police on Monday (13).

The missing women are identified as 39 & 40-year-old residents from Ittakanda.
