COLOMBO (News 1st); The main suspect wanted for shooting dead a 14-year-old boy from Weeraketiya was arrested on Wednesday (22).
Police Spokesperson SSP Attorney-at-Law Nihal Thalduwa told News 1st that the suspect was arrested while in hiding in a forest reservation in Weeraketiya.
Another suspect was also arrested along with the main perpetrator, he added.
In addition, three others were also arrested in connection to the homicide earlier.
On the 20th of September, a 14-year-old boy was shot dead hours before his 15th birthday, following a dispute between relatives.
