Jayantha Ketagoda takes oath as MP, again

COLOMBO (News 1st); Jayantha Ketagoda took oaths as a Member of Parliament, again, in the presence of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena on Tuesday (21).

He was named by the SLPP to Parliament for fill the seat left vacant by Ajith Nivard Cabraal, who resigned from Parliament to take up the post of Central Bank Governor.

Earlier, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National List MP Jayantha Ketagoda resigned from his Parliamentary seat to make way for Economic Revival and Poverty Alleviation Presidential Task Force Head, Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

Basil Rajapaksa is the present Finance Minister.
