#DataScam : Why were COVID related files accepted manually by NMRA?

COLOMBO (News 1st); President of the College of Medical Laboratory Science Ravi Kumudesh claims that the Government is acting out a drama with regard to the #DataScam involving the mysterious disappearance of files of the National Medicine Regulatory Authority.

He said ruling party MPs are engaged in a white-washing campaign even before the investigations carried out by the Criminal Investigations Department are complete.

"The CEO of the company in question was arrested and granted bail the next day," said Ravi Kumudesh adding that no one claims he is responsible for the #DataScam, however, the serious concern is that no proper answer has been given to the mysterious disappearance of files of the National Medicine Regulatory Authority.

He said there is serious concern on the matter that the NMRA decided to accept files related to COVID-19 manually, when the entire structure is fixed on a digital platform.
