Decision on lifting lockdown will be made on Friday (10)

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena says that the decision on whether the country will reopen or not will be made on Friday (10). The current lockdown is scheduled to be lifted on 13 September.

Speaking to reporters, Dr. Asela Gunawardena said the decision will be reached at the COVID Committee meeting presided by the President.

He went on to note, even if the lockdown is lifted, it will be subject to restrictions he said.
