Geologists deployed to investigate Lunugamwehera tremor

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau says that a team of geologists have been deployed to gather information regarding the minor tremor that was experieneced in the Lunugamwehera area yesterday (7).
Its Chairman, Anura Walpola said that a team of geologists on duty at the Moneragala office have been deployed for this purpose.
A magnitude 2.4 tremor was experienced in the Lunugamwehera area at around 10.38 a.m. yesterday (7).
