COLOMBO (News 1st): Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa says that the Rapid Antigen and PCR tests being sold for the price declared by the Government gazette is a scam.
In a statement, the Opposition Leader expresses his distaste for Rapid Antigen and PCR tests being sold for Rs. 6,500 and Rs. 2,000 when they are imported for much lower prices.
He further mentions that the data of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority being wiped is a planned conspiracy, and urges the Government to reverse the gazette declaring the MRP of RAT and PCR tests to make them affordable without making the pandemic a business.
