COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 3,884 COVID-19 cases on Saturday (21), said Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.
He told News 1st on Sunday (22) that Gampaha recorded 587 cases while Colombo recorded 567 cases.
In addition, Kalutara recorded 453 COVID cases, he said.
The Army Commander went on to note that a majority of the COVID cases are now reported from the Western Province.
In addition, 201 infections were reported from Galle, and another 164 cases were reported while 168 cases were reported from the Gampaha District, said the Army Commander.
Further Batticaloa recorded 159 COVID-19 cases while Moneragala & Matale recorded 157 cases each on Saturday (21), said the Army Commander.
