3,806 COVID-19 cases on Thursday (19) & 186 fatalities confirmed for Wednesday (18)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 3,806 COVID-19 cases on Thursday (19), said the Department of Government Information.

At the same time, the Director-General of Health Services confirmed that 186 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed for Wednesday, the 18th of August 2021, the highest number of deaths confirmed for a single day.
