Cabinet nod to import 6,000 MT of rice under FTA with Pakistan

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Cabinet of Minister has approved a proposal to import 6,000 MT of rice as per the provisions of the Sri Lanka - Pakistan Free Trade Agreement.

A document from the Department of Government Information noted that approval was granted to the proposal as a solution for the rice shortage that is being prevailed in the market.
