Gampaha records 767 COVID cases in 24 hrs; 2,953 COVID cases on Monday (09)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 2,953 COVID-19 cases on Monday (09) and 15 of these cases were those who returned from overseas and tested positive for the coronavirus.

All others were from the Post-Avurudu Cluster, said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

The Gampaha District recorded the highest number of 767 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours followed by Kalutara with 440 COVID-19 infections.
