Minister Basil Rajapaksa sworn in as Member of Parliament

COLOMBO (News 1st): Basil Rajapaksa who was sworn in as the Minister of Finance took oaths as a Member of Parliament before Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena a short while ago today (Jul. 08). Basil Rajapaksa took oaths as the new Minister of Finance before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, on Thursday morning (Jul. 08). The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) named Basil Rajapaksa as a National List MP to replace Jayantha Ketagoda who stepped down as an MP on Tuesday (Jul. 06).
