33 COVID deaths confirmed on Monday (24); Deaths between 17th & 23rd May

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director-General of Health Services confirmed 05 deaths that occurred on Monday (24) due to Covid-19 virus infection. Apart from that, 28 Covid – 19 deaths that occurred between 17th & 23rd May were also confirmed.

Of them, 01 death was reported on 17th May. 03 deaths on the 19th May, 02 deaths on the 20th May, 04 deaths on the 21th May, 10 deaths on 22nd May, and 08 deaths on the 23rd May were reported.

Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1243.
