Over 4,000 people given COVID vaccines on Sunday (09) in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's vaccination drive continued on Sunday (09) with over 4,000 people being administered the Sinopharm and Sputnik Vaccines and the second dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine.

1,641 people were given the second dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine on Sunday (09), said the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health.

2,867 people were given the Chinese Sinopharm Vaccine and 1,385 people were given the Russian Sputnik Vaccine on Sunday, it added.
