411 COVID cases from Colombo; Spike in COVID cases in Ratnapura on Saturday (08)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Colombo recorded 411 COVID-19 infections on Saturday (08) increasing the total number of COVID infections from the district to 38,324 since the 04th of October 2020.

Gampaha and Kalutara Districts recorded 347 & 358 COVID-9 infections respectively on Saturday (08), said the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

Ratnapura experienced a spike in COVID-19 cases on Saturday (08) with 172 infections being reported compared to Friday's (07) 53 infections.
