Passengers from India NOT permitted to disembark in SL

COLOMBO (News 1st): Passengers travelling from India will NOT be permitted to disembark in Sri Lanka, the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka said on Wednesday (May 05). "In accordance with instructions received from the health authorities of Sri Lanka due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, it is hereby directed that passengers travelling from India will NOT be permitted to disembark in Sri Lanka with immediate effect," a statement issued by the Civil Aviation Authority on Wednesday (05) read. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the aforementioned restrictions will be reviewed as early as possible based on instructions of the local health authorities.
